Thomas has extensive experience in leading projects within both agile and traditional frameworks. He has worked on everything from smaller development initiatives to larger, complex projects with multiple stakeholders and system integrations. His focus is on creating effective solutions within integrated system environments and business systems, where technology and business work together to achieve strategic goals.
A central part of Thomas's work is system procurement, where he is responsible for the entire process – from needs analysis and requirements specification to evaluation, supplier selection, and implementation. He has a good understanding of both technical and business aspects, making him a reliable leader in change projects where system support is crucial.
Experience
Thomas joined HerbertNathan & Co in 2025, bringing with him extensive experience in business systems, project management, and business development. Prior to that, he worked as Head of NetSuite at Tietoevry, where he was responsible for leading and developing the business area around NetSuite – a cloud-based ERP system – with a focus on customer projects, business development, and team leadership. With over 25 years of experience in the industry, Thomas has held several roles such as consultant, project manager, system owner, and line manager in various types of organizations – from large international companies to smaller businesses. This has given him a deep understanding of both technology and business processes, as well as the ability to navigate complex environments where change and digitalization are at the forefront.
Education
A degree in Business Administration with focus on accounting.
Training and certification in agile methods (SAFe, Scrum), project management and project methodology (PMI), as well as methods for implementing business systems (Oracle E-business Suite, SuiteSuccess, Sure Step)
